HALF-DAY TOUR TO THE BALLESTAS ISLANDS (START: 08:00 / 08:30 / 09:00) This 2‑hour‑and‑30‑minute experience begins at 8:00, 8:30, or 9:00 a.m., as you board a speedboat and set off across the bay of Paracas towards the spectacular Ballestas Islands, one of Peru’s most iconic wildlife sanctuaries. Before reaching the islands, the tour pauses at the mysterious Candelabro, a vast geoglyph carved into the sandy hillside. Visible only from the sea, its origin remains unknown, adding an intriguing historical element to the journey. As you approach the Ballestas, the coastline comes alive: colonies of sea lions bask on the rocks, charming Humboldt penguins move between cliffs, and thousands of seabirds fill the sky. It’s a rare opportunity to witness the richness of marine life in its natural environment. Throughout the trip, you’ll admire dramatic rock formations shaped by wind and waves, and enjoy the vibrant energy of this protected ecosystem. • CHANGE OF TRAVEL DATE - Requests to change the travel date will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled activity. • CANCELLATIONS - Cancellations submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled activity are eligible for a full refund. - Cancellations submitted within 24 hours of the scheduled activity are non-refundable. - Cancellations due to circumstances beyond the control of either the company or the client (such as strikes, social conflicts, or natural disasters) may be refundable; however, the amount to be refunded will be subject to evaluation. • REFUND PROCESSING - For payments made via PayPal, refunds are processed immediately. - For payments made by credit or debit card, refunds may take several days depending on the policies of the issuing bank.
