From there, a hike of approximately two hours begins, ascending along a trail surrounded by mountains and Andean landscapes that anticipate the beauty of the final destination. Upon reaching Humantay Lake, travellers have free time to take photos, admire the intense turquoise colour of its waters, and appreciate the impressive natural scenery dominated by the surrounding snow-capped peaks. After the visit, the return hike leads back to the base camp, and from there the group continues to Soraypampa once again, where the included lunch is provided. Finally, the journey back to the city of Cusco continues, with an estimated arrival time of around 5:00 p.m., concluding a day filled with nature, adventure, and unforgettable landscapes.
