FULL-DAY TOUR TO RAINBOW MOUNTAIN (Vinicunca) ✦ Type of Excursion: Adventure, Hiking ✦ Difficulty: Challenging ✦ Service: Group Tour (18 max.) ✦ Transport: Van ✦ Duration: 12 Hours ✦ Schedule: 4:00 AM ◘ ITINERARY The one-day tour to Vinicunca Mountain begins at 4:00 a.m., travelling towards the village of Cusipata, where the first stop is made to enjoy the included breakfast before continuing on to the base camp. From this point, a hike of approximately two hours begins, ascending along a trail surrounded by high-Andean landscapes that reveal the majesty of the final destination. Upon reaching Vinicunca Mountain, travellers have free time to take photos and admire the impressive multicoloured scenery. There is also the option to visit the Red Valley viewpoint, located just a few metres away, offering a unique panoramic view of this striking natural environment. After the visit, the return hike leads back to the base camp, and from there the group continues to Cusipata once again, where the included lunch is provided. Finally, the journey back to the city of Cusco continues, with an estimated arrival time of around 5:00 p.m., concluding a day filled with adventure, nature, and unforgettable landscapes. Please inform us of any dietary requirements when booking. ○ Alternative transportation for the hike If you cannot complete the hike at 5,000 m (16,404 ft), horses or quads can be rented directly from local providers (S/70–S/90 / USD 25–30). These services are not offered by the agency, and their use is at your own risk.
Changes, Cancellations & Refund Policies
• CHANGE OF TRAVEL DATE - Requests to change the travel date will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled activity. • CANCELLATIONS - Cancellations submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled activity are eligible for a full refund. - Cancellations submitted within 24 hours of the scheduled activity are non-refundable. - Cancellations due to circumstances beyond the control of either the company or the client (such as strikes, social conflicts, or natural disasters) may be refundable; however, the amount to be refunded will be subject to evaluation. • REFUND PROCESSING - For payments made via PayPal, refunds are processed immediately. - For payments made by credit or debit card, refunds may take several days depending on the policies of the issuing bank.
