8:30am

  • 08:30 AM – Departure from Cusco

    • Passengers will be collected from their respective hotels to begin the journey toward the charming town of Chinchero.

  • 09:15 AM – Chinchero: Cultural Experience

    • Visit a traditional Andean community renowned for its vibrant textile heritage. Local weavers will demonstrate ancestral techniques using natural dyes and intricate patterns that reflect their deep connection to nature and tradition.

  • 10:30 AM – Maras Salt Mines

    • Explore the impressive salt terraces of Maras, a network of thousands of shallow pools carved into the mountainside. Used since pre-Inca times to harvest salt through natural evaporation, the site offers a truly unique and photogenic landscape.

  • 11:45 AM – Moray Agricultural Laboratory

    • Discover the fascinating circular terraces of Moray, believed to have been an Inca agricultural research center. Each level creates a distinct microclimate, allowing ancient farmers to experiment with various crops.

  • 1:00 PM – Return to Cusco

    • After a day enriched with history and natural beauty, the return journey to Cusco begins.

  • 2:00 PM – Arrival in Cusco

    • End of the tour.

ABOUT THE TOURIST TICKET "BTC"

  • The Tourist Ticket (BTC) is a mandatory ticket for all visitors and allows access to 16 different attractions in the city of Cusco and surroundings (museums, theaters, archaeological sites, etc.). Some of the attractions are mentioned in our activities.The Tourist Ticket (BTC) is divided as follows:

    • 1) GENERAL TICKET for adults:Valid for 10 days. This ticket allows you to visit the following attractions:- Sacsayhuaman- Qenqo- Puca Pucara- Tambomachay- Museum of Contemporary Art- Regional Historical Museum- Museum of Popular Art- Qoricancha Site Museum- Qosqo Native Art Center- Pachacuteq Inca Monument- Piquillacta- Tipon- Pisac- Ollantaytambo- Chinchero- Moray

    • 2) PARTIAL TICKET FOR ADULTS:It is subdivided into 3 Circuits.

      • CIRCUIT 1: Valid for 1 day. This ticket allows you to visit the following attractions:- Sacsayhuaman- Quenqo- Puca Pucara- Tambomachay

      • CIRCUIT 2: Valid for 2 days. This ticket allows you to visit the following attractions:- Regional Historical Museum- Museum of Contemporary Art- Museum of Popular Art- Qorikancha Site Museum- Qosqo Native Art Center- Pachacutec Inca Monument

      • CIRCUIT 3: Valid for 2 days. This ticket allows you to visit the following attractions:- Pisac- Ollantaytambo- Chinchero- Moray

The ticket price may vary depending on the type selected, ranging from S/70 (24 USD) for the partial ticket to S/130 (45 USD) for the full ticket.

The Tourist Ticket (BTC) is available for purchase on-site at the entrance of each attraction.

The Tourist Ticket (BTC) is NOT valid to visit Machu Picchu.

The Tourist Ticket (BTC) is available for purchase at the entrance of each attraction mentioned in the program or can be added as an "Add-on" at the time of booking.

 

ABOUT THE TICKET TO THE SALT MINES OF MARAS

  • The entrance ticket to the salt mines of Maras is not included in the Tourist Ticket (BTC), as this site does not fall under the jurisdiction of the Peruvian government. Visitors wishing to enter must purchase a separate ticket, which costs approximately S/20 (8 USD) per person and is available for purchase on-site at the cathedral's entrance or can be added as "Add On" at the moment of booking.

 

ABOUT MEALS DURING THE ACTIVITY

  • Please note that the tour does not include any meals, even though it finishes late in the day. For your comfort, we recommend bringing your own snacks and water.

CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICIES

Change of Travel Date

  • Requests to change the travel date will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled activity.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled activity are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations submitted within 24 hours of the scheduled activity are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations due to circumstances beyond the control of either the company or the client (such as strikes, social conflicts, or natural disasters) may be refundable; however, the amount to be refunded will be subject to evaluation.

Refunds

  • For payments made via PayPal, refunds are processed immediately.

  • For payments made by credit or debit card, refunds may take several days depending on the policies of the issuing bank.
