Begin your afternoon excursion with a comfortable collection from your hotel in Puno. Our professional guide will greet you and provide a brief introduction to the tour as we set off towards the Sillustani archaeological complex.

2:15 pm – Scenic Drive

Enjoy a picturesque journey through the Andean highlands, with sweeping views of Lake Titicaca and traditional rural landscapes. Along the way, your guide will share insights into the region’s geography, history, and cultural significance.

3:00 pm – Arrival at Sillustani

Discover the remarkable funerary towers of Sillustani, constructed by pre-Inca civilisations to honour their elite. Set on a hilltop overlooking the tranquil Lake Umayo, this site offers both archaeological fascination and breathtaking natural beauty. Learn about ancient burial rituals, architectural techniques, and the spiritual beliefs of the Colla people.

4:30 pm – Visit to Typical Local Homes & Return to Puno

On the return journey, we shall stop at a traditional rural home where you will meet local families and gain first-hand insight into daily life in the Peruvian highlands. Learn about farming practices, local customs, and the enduring traditions that shape this community.

6:00 pm – Arrival at Puno Port and End of Tour

Conclude your journey at Puno port, where you will bid farewell to your guide and fellow travellers. An optional transfer back to your hotel is available for your convenience.

MY ACCOMMODATION IS OUTSIDE PUNO CENTER

The following hotels are excluded of the pick-up: Sonesta Posada del Inca, Casa Andina Premium, Lake Titicaca Hotel, GHL Libertador, Jose Antonio Hoteles. A designated meeting point can be arranged in the city center (historical center) for your convenience. Alternatively, transportation services can be provided for an additional fee.

CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICIES

Change of Travel Date

Requests to change the travel date will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled activity.

Cancellations

Cancellations submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled activity are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations submitted within 24 hours of the scheduled activity are non-refundable.
Cancellations due to circumstances beyond the control of either the company or the client (such as strikes, social conflicts, or natural disasters) may be refundable; however, the amount to be refunded will be subject to evaluation.

For payments made by credit or debit card, refunds may take several days depending on the policies of the issuing bank.
