  • 7:40 am – Departure by speedboat to the Uros Floating Islands

Board the vessel and commence your journey across Lake Titicaca towards the unique Uros Floating Islands. Enjoy the scenic crossing as you approach these remarkable reed‑built communities.

  • 8:00 am – Arrival at the Uros Floating Islands

Guided visit: learn about Uros culture and take an optional reed boat ride while exploring the magic of Lake Titicaca on a journey filled with tradition, nature, and unforgettable moments.

  • 9:15 am – Continue by speedboat to Taquile Island

Admire panoramic views during the boat journey as you glide across the shimmering waters of Lake Titicaca, surrounded by majestic landscapes and the tranquil rhythm of Andean life.

  • 9:00 am – Arrival at Taquile Island

Enjoy a scenic uphill walk along ancient stone paths, with stunning views of Lake Titicaca. Upon reaching the main square, immerse yourself in Taquile’s rich cultural heritage, where traditions, textiles, and community life reflect centuries of Andean history.

  • 11:30 am – Lunch at a local restaurant

  • 12:30 pm – Walk down to the harbour and embarkation

Enjoy a scenic return walk along the lower part of Taquile Island, following gentle paths with splendid lake views. This tranquil route offers a closer look at local life and landscapes before returning to the harbour.

  • 1:00 pm – Departure for Puno

Relax during the two‑and‑a‑half‑hour boat journey back.

  • 3:30 pm – Arrival at Puno harbour

MY ACCOMMODATION IS OUTSIDE PUNO CENTER

The following hotels are excluded of the pick-up: Sonesta Posada del Inca, Casa Andina Premium, Lake Titicaca Hotel, GHL Libertador, Jose Antonio Hoteles. A designated meeting point can be arranged in the city center (historical center) for your convenience. Alternatively, transportation services can be provided for an additional fee.

ABOUT THE RIDE ON A REED BOAT DURING THE TOUR IN UROS ISLANDS

The ride on a traditional reed boat during the visit to the Uros floating islands is not included in the tour price. This optional activity costs $5 USD per person and can be arranged directly with the local families during the tour.

ABOUT MEALS

All meals are prepared by local hosts using regional ingredients such as potatoes, rice, vegetables, and quinoa. Vegetarian options are available and can be arranged on the same day.

CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICIES

Change of Travel Date

  • Requests to change the travel date will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled activity.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled activity are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations submitted within 24 hours of the scheduled activity are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations due to circumstances beyond the control of either the company or the client (such as strikes, social conflicts, or natural disasters) may be refundable; however, the amount to be refunded will be subject to evaluation.

Refunds

  • For payments made via PayPal, refunds are processed immediately.

  • For payments made by credit or debit card, refunds may take several days depending on the policies of the issuing bank.
